Cineius · the rights marketplace Private beta

The marketplace that checks before you sign.

Independent film runs on rights — and deals fall apart over territories, holdbacks, and approvals nobody caught in time. Cineius is a two-sided marketplace where the checking is built in: creators can only list what they actually hold, and buyers see what their service can lawfully run, before anyone commits.

How it works

Two sides, one trusted middle.

One

List

A creator picks territories for their film — Cineius blocks anything they don’t hold or that collides with a holdback, and shows exactly what each market requires and who to contact for approvals.

Two

Discover

A buyer finds the film, screens it, and asks the question no other marketplace answers: can my servicelawfully run this here? Guidance on what’s required — never a verdict.

Three

Deal

Offer, tax acknowledgments, price approvals, both signatures, delivery confirmed — every gate an explicit human decision, every step recorded in the deal’s provenance log.

Try it — code in hand.

Cineius is an early working prototype with sample data — a full marketplace you can run end to end from either side, on your phone or laptop. It sits behind an access code while it grows; ask Wilkin for the code, then take the three-minute guided story or explore freely.
